At Star Soccer Academy, we deliver the highest standard of grassroots football through our MJBL & JPL squads. These teams are for elite-level players only – young players who are ready for the demands of advanced training, competitive fixtures, and the challenge of competing against some of the strongest teams in the region.
We provide a
genuine development pathway for standout players, with a
main professional academy connection with Leicester City and
direct links to Northampton Town and Notts County, creating real opportunities for talented players to be seen and progress into the professional academy environment.
Through our strong connections with Leicester City we have had a number players invited to trial with Academy & train at Emerging Talent Centre at Seagrave.

How The Spring Trials Work
Our trials run as a four-week rolling assessment, giving players the time to settle in, show consistency, and experience our training standards properly.
- 🗓 March & April 2026
- 📍 Training sessions every Monday
- 🔁 Join any week and complete a full 4-week trial block
- 💷 Completely FREE – no trial fees
This allows us to assess players fairly over multiple sessions, not just on one-off performances.
