Step 01 — Is This You?

Girls Academy Is Built For Your Daughter If She…

01

Wants To Play With Other Girls

Mixed sessions aren't for every girl. Some want a space where the football is the focus, the environment is hers, and she's not the only girl on the pitch.

02

Wants Pushing by Players at Her Level

She's one of the better players in her school or club team. Here she trains with girls of the same standard — and stops being the one carrying the game.

03

Plays Already & Wants More

Already playing for a school or grassroots team and starting to stand out? This is where that gets taken seriously — proper coaching, small groups, and standards that assume she's here to find out how good she can be.

04

Has An Older Sister Or Friend Here

The academy's girls' programme is growing. Many of our players came because they knew someone already here — and it's one of the best reasons to give it a go.

Step 02 — Why Girls Academy

Four Things That Make This Actually Different.

UEFA B & C Qualified

The same coaching qualifications that run our boys' academy and MJPL squads. Proper coaching, delivered properly.

Small Groups

Sessions are capped so every player gets individual feedback. No one hides at the back. No one is just making up the numbers. Every touch counts.

Built For Girls

Girls Academy was designed from the ground up — not a boys' session with girls allowed in. Built for girls who want to get better.

A Real Pathway

Progression into girls' grassroots clubs, partnered squads, and the wider Leicestershire girls' football pathway.

Step 03 — Inside a Session

What A Session Actually Looks Like.

Every Girls Academy session follows a structure that balances technical development with enjoyment — because confidence grows when girls feel the session belongs to them.

Arrival & Warm-Up

Gentle ball-rolling, dynamic movement, and a chance to settle in before the coaching starts.

The first ten minutes set the tone. No pressure, no drills — just girls getting comfortable with the ball and the group before the session properly begins.

Technical Focus

One clear technical theme per session — first touch, passing, dribbling, shooting — practised in pairs or small groups.

Isolated technical practice is how skills stick. Focused repetition in a low-pressure format is where real improvement happens — for any age, any level.

Applied Practice

The technical theme taken into a small-sided exercise where it gets used in context.

Technique without decision-making stays in the drill. Putting it into a game-like situation is what turns practice into play.

Small-Sided Games

3v3 to 5v5 games with coaching interventions and plenty of touches per player.

Small-sided games are where confidence grows. More touches, more involvement, more chances to try what was just practised — without hiding at the back of a big pitch.

Cool Down & Chat

A short cool-down and one-line feedback for every player — something she did well, one thing to work on.

Every player leaves knowing she was seen. Individual feedback — even just a sentence — is what makes the difference between 'I went to training' and 'I'm getting better'.

Step 04 — Questions Parents Ask

Everything You Want To Know Before Booking.

Girls Academy is for players already competing at level 3 or above, or already training with us. If she's newer to the game, call us on 07760 782 328 and we'll point you to the right session — the pathway can still lead here.
