ALREADY IN A PRO ACADEMY
Already inside a professional academy and looking for extra high-level work alongside it, against players who will test them.
Player One
For players who've outgrown what a normal session can give them. A place must be earned — and once it is, the environment asks more of them every week: better players around them, faster decisions, higher standards.

Already inside a professional academy and looking for extra high-level work alongside it, against players who will test them.
Being watched by clubs, and wanting to be sharper and more confident on the ball before the next trial comes round.
Playing grassroots football with a clear ambition to go further, and ready to train somewhere the standard is higher than they are used to.
Coachable under pressure — takes feedback, works at what they are told to work at, and does not drop their head when a session is hard.
If that sounds like your child, Player One is worth the conversation.
Every player has a written development plan — strengths, priorities, and what this block of sessions is working on. Players own it, parents see it, and sessions are planned against it. Improvement here is deliberate, not accidental.
Session and match clips are reviewed with players so they see what the coach sees. At this level, understanding why matters as much as repeating what — that's what turns a good player into an intelligent one.
Alongside the group work, players train the demands of their position — the movements, pictures and decisions their role actually asks of them on a Saturday.
No certificates, no gimmicks, no filler drills. Ninety minutes of planned, demanding coaching with players who can all handle the ball — because at this level, the environment is the product.
Founder & Head Coach, Star Soccer Academy
“I don't want to produce players who all play the same way. I want to give them the technical ability, confidence and understanding to make their own decisions when the game puts a problem in front of them.”
Invitation only · ages U9–U11. Player One cannot be booked directly — places are offered by the coaches. Players earn one through our weekly academy sessions here, and train as a separate group once invited.

Player One starts with being seen. Book a free session at Kirby Muxloe — tell us your child's date of birth and we'll put them in the right group. Train well, week after week, and the coaches will notice. If they're a fit for Player One, we'll raise it with you after they've watched them play. Nothing is bought here — every place is earned.
Player One is invitation only, and you cannot book directly into it. Every player must first come through our Kirby Muxloe centre — from there, players who show the right level, attitude and potential can be invited in. It is not a judgement made from a form, and it is not permanent either way: it is a decision about what a player needs right now.
